Kazakhstan: Inflation inches up in June
Consumer prices rose 0.2% over the previous month in June, decelerating from May’s 0.5% month-on-month upturn. June’s print reflected slower price increases for food and non-food products.
Inflation edged up to 5.4% from 5.3% in May, but remained within the Bank’s 4.0%–6.0% target band. Lastly, annual average inflation remained unchanged in June at May’s 5.4%.
