Kazakhstan: Inflation recedes in September
Consumer prices rose 0.3% over the previous month in September, edging up from August’s 0.2% outturn. Higher prices for food, and raising prices for products and service led the increase.
Inflation receded to 5.2% in September from 5.5% in August, nearing the mid-point of the Central Bank’s 4.0%–6.0% target band. Lastly, annual average inflation came in at 5.2%, inching down from 5.3% a month prior.
