Kenya: Inflation hits seven-month high November
Consumer prices increased a seasonally-adjusted month-on-month 1.19% in November, picking up from October’s 0.95% increase. November’s figure was the sharpest increase in prices since February. The print reflected higher prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, health, and hotels and restaurants.
Inflation came in at 5.5% in November, up from October’s 4.8%, marking the highest inflation rate since April. Meanwhile, the trend was unchanged with annual average inflation coming in at October’s 5.2% in November.
