Kuwait: Inflation falls to lowest level since November 2020 in June
Inflation fell to 2.8% in June, following May’s 3.2%. June’s reading marked the weakest inflation rate since November 2020, and was driven by prices for food and housing growing at softer rates.
Accordingly, the trend pointed down slightly, with annual average inflation coming in at 3.4% in June (May: 3.5%).
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.22% in June over the previous month, picking up from May’s 0.15% increase.
