Latvia: Inflation ticks up in February
Consumer ticked edged up 0.1% from the previous month in February, softening from January’s 0.4% increase. A breakdown of the sub-components showed the result reflected markedly higher prices for food, and clothing and footwear, which more than offset lower prices for transport.
Inflation ticked up to 2.3% in February, from 2.2% at the outset of the year. Meanwhile, annual average inflation remained unchanged at the previous month’s 2.7% in February.
