Lithuania: Industrial activity dips in November
Industrial output dropped 1.3% year on year in November (October: +0.6% yoy). The reading was partly driven by a deterioration in manufacturing output. In addition, mining and quarrying production fell heavily.
On a monthly basis, industrial output dropped 0.7% in seasonally adjusted terms in November, a less pronounced drop than October’s 0.9% fall. Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 15.8% in November, up from October’s minus 17.2%.
