Lithuania: Industrial output growth picks up pace in October
Industrial output grew 20.5% in year-on-year terms in October, which was above September’s 19.4% increase. October’s upturn came on the back of an upturn in manufacturing and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production.
On a monthly basis, industrial production grew 0.6% in seasonally-adjusted terms in October, which was significantly below September’s 5.0% expansion. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 14.8% in October (September: +13.1%), signaling an improving trend in the industrial sector.
