Lithuania: Industrial output slows slightly in February
Industrial output increased 21.0% compared to the same month a year earlier in February, following January´s 24.2% increase. Looking at the details of the release, February´s slowdown was mainly due to more moderate growth across all sub-sectors.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 3.8% in February, sharply contrasting January´s: 1.8% increase. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 22.0% in February (January: +20.7%). This signals an improving trend in the industrial sector.
