Lithuania: Harmonized inflation holds steady in April
Harmonized inflation was stable at March’s 0.4% in April. Looking at the details of the release, price pressures for alcohol and tobacco intensified, while food prices fell at a sharper pace in April compared to the previous month, and price pressures for transportation eased.
Annual average harmonized inflation fell to 3.8% in April (March: 4.8%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation ticked up to 0.1% in April, from March’s 0.0%.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices increased 0.26% from the previous month in April, contrasting March’s 0.07% drop.
