Lithuania: Inflation drops to lowest level since May in November
Consumer prices dropped 0.14% over the previous month in November, swinging from October’s 0.07% increase. November’s result marked the sharpest fall in prices since August. Looking at the details of the release, the reading chiefly reflected sliding prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation dropped to 0.6% in November, which followed October’s 0.7%. November’s reading marked the lowest inflation rate since May. In turn, annual average inflation edged down to 1.4% in November (October: 1.5%). Lastly, harmonized inflation edged down to 0.4% from the previous month’s 0.5%.
