Luxembourg: Harmonized inflation edges up in July
Consumer prices fell 0.7% month-on-month in July, the lowest print in six months, after a 0.1% downturn in June. The drop largely reflected lower prices for household items and clothing amid a planned summer sale.
In July, inflation matched June’s 1.8% result, while harmonized inflation ticked up to 1.6% from 1.5%. Meanwhile, annual average inflation remained unchanged at June’s 1.8%.
