Luxembourg: Harmonized inflation edges up in March
Consumer prices rose 0.2% month-on-month in March, decelerating from February’s 1.5% increase. The print largely reflected higher prices for oil-products more than offsetting lower prices for food, and recreation and culture.
Inflation came in at 2.2% in March, a tad above February’s 2.1% result. In addition, harmonized inflation increased to 2.4% in March, compared to 2.1% in the previous month. Meanwhile, annual average inflation increased from February’s 1.7% to 1.8% in March.
