Luxembourg: Harmonized inflation holds stable in November
Harmonized inflation came in at 2.1% in November, matching October’s figure and below the 2.4% Euro area average. Slower growth in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages and recreation offsett stronger growth in prices for housing and utilities and a smaller decline in transport prices.
Annual average harmonized inflation fell to 3.2% in November (October: 3.6%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 3.0% in November, from the previous month’s 3.2%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices eased 0.61% in November over the previous month, a sharper fall than October’s 0.07% drop and marking the weakest reading since December 2022.
