Luxembourg: Harmonized inflation recedes in September
Consumer prices fell 0.2% month-on-month in September, contrasting a 1.2% increase in August. The fall largely reflected lower prices for food and transport, following the end of the holiday season.
In September, inflation fell from August’s 1.7% to 1.3%, while harmonized inflation decreased to 1.1% from 1.4%. Meanwhile, annual average inflation edged down to 1.9% from 2.0% in August.
