Luxembourg: Inflation eases in June
Harmonized consumer prices increased 0.30% in June over the previous month, decelerating from the 0.42% rise logged in May. Looking at the details of the release, housing and utilities prices rose at a quicker pace in June compared to the previous month and price pressures for transportation picked up pace.
Harmonized inflation came in at 3.4% in June, down from May’s 4.0%. Annual average harmonized inflation ticked up to 1.0% in June (May: 0.7%). Lastly, inflation eased to 2.2% in June, from May’s 2.5%.
