Netherlands: Business confidence hits record high in June
Business confidence rose to 11.5 in June from May’s 8.8. June’s result marked the best reading on record. As such, the index moved further above the 0-threshold, signaling optimism among businesses.
The improvement came on the back of increased optimism regarding order book positions and output expectations. On the other hand, a deterioration in views regarding stocks of finished goods weighed on the headline reading.
