Netherlands: Business sentiment improves slightly in October
Manufacturers’ sentiment in the Netherlands rose from 3.3 in September to 3.6 in October, remaining above the long-term average over the past 20 years of 1.0 and above the neutral 0-mark that separates optimism from pessimism.
The marginal uptick in October was largely driven by more upbeat views on expected output levels, while negativity regarding stocks of finished goods softened. However, outlooks on order books moderated somewhat.
