Netherlands: Harmonized inflation increases in November
Harmonized inflation came in at 1.4% in November, swinging from October’s 1.0% drop in prices. The result was largely due to a more moderate decrease in prices for housing and utilities amid a softer drop in energy prices.
Annual average harmonized inflation fell to 4.9% in November (October: 5.7%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation came in at 1.6% in November, contrasting October’s 0.4% decrease in prices.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices fell 1.49% over the previous month in November, swinging from October’s 0.58% rise and marking the weakest reading since January.
