Norway: Inflation recedes in September
Consumer prices increased 0.36% from the previous month in September, contrasting the 0.35% fall recorded in August. The rebound was largely broad-based, with greater price pressures recorded for housing and utilities, transportation, and food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation came in at 1.6% in September, edging down from August’s 1.7%. Meanwhile, the trend was unchanged in September with annual average inflation coming in at August’s 1.4%. Lastly, core inflation fell to 3.3% from August’s 3.7%.
