Panama: Consumer prices fall in annual terms for ninth consecutive month in November
Consumer prices fell 0.10% from the previous month in November, following October’s 0.14% decrease. The decline was largely driven by lower prices for transportation.
In year-on-year terms, consumer prices declined 2.0% in November, after falling 1.9% in October and marking the ninth consecutive month of falling prices. In addition, the annual average variation of consumer prices came in at minus 1.4% in November, down from October’s minus 1.3%.
