Peru: Business sentiment improves in November
The business confidence indicator rose from October’s 47.0 points to 49.7 points in November. Thus, the indicator moved closer to the 50-point threshold that separates pessimism from optimism, below which it has remained for six consecutive months.
November’s result reflected a broad-based improvement in expectations. Prospects on the general economic situations over the next 3 and 12 months strengthened, as did the outlook on the company in both the short- and medium-term. Moreover, businesses perceptions on the conditions of the sector in the next 3 months grew rosier while, demand prospects improved from the previous month, both for the short- and medium-term.
