Peru: Economic activity gains steam in February
In February, economic activity grew 3.8% year-on-year, accelerating from January’s 3.0% outturn. In terms of industries, February’s expansion was underpinned by healthy growth in the mining and quarrying, agricultural, and manufacturing sectors.
Meanwhile, the annual average growth in economic activity inched up from January’s 2.3% to 2.4% in February.
