Philippines: Inflation falls in January
Consumer prices increased by 0.36% over the previous month in January, up on December’s 0.18% increase. January’s result marked the highest reading since August.
Inflation dropped to 3.0% in January from December’s 3.3%. January’s reading represented the weakest inflation rate since November 2020. Meanwhile, annual average inflation was 4.0% in January (December: 4.1%).
