Poland: Economic sentiment falls to 10-month low in February
Economic sentiment fell to 101.5 in February from January’s 102.0. As a result, the index remained above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
Sentiment in the retail sector waned in the surveyed month. Moreover, consumer confidence weakened in February. However, sentiment in the industrial and construction sectors improved, as did confidence in the services sector.
Considering indicators that are not used to calculate the index, employment expectations improved, while the economic uncertainty index remained flat in February.
