Poland: Industrial output rebounds in June
Industrial output grew 0.3% in year-on-year terms in June, which contrasted May’s 1.6% decrease. Looking at the details of the release, mining and quarrying output dropped at a sharper rate in June, while manufacturing output gathered steam.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rose 1.5% in June (May: -2.1% mom s.a.). Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 2.1%, up from May’s minus 3.2% reading.
