Poland: Industrial output growth strengthens in May
Industrial production expanded 15.0% year-on-year in May (April: +12.4% yoy). May’s acceleration was driven by faster growth in manufacturing output.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 0.4% in May (April: +0.5% mom), the worst result since December 2021. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 3.3% in May (April: +8.3%), signaling a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
