Poland: Industrial output growth eases in June
Industrial output increased 18.4% compared to the same month a year earlier in June, down from May’s 29.7% increase. June’s notable slowdown was largely driven by a decline in mining and quarrying production. In addition, manufacturing production growth lost pace from the previous month. Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 11.7% in June, up from May’s 10.2%.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose 0.2% in seasonally-adjusted terms in June, which was below May’s 0.7% expansion.
