Poland: Industrial output growth gains momentum in November
Industrial output rose 5.4% in November (October: +1.0% yoy). November’s reading largely reflected a robust pick up in manufacturing output, while mining and quarrying production fell at a softer pace compared to the previous month.
On a monthly basis, factory output decreased 1.6% in seasonally-adjusted terms in November, contrasting October’s 3.2% expansion and marking the worst result since April. Meanwhile, the trend improved slightly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 1.6%, up from October’s minus 1.9%.
