Poland: Inflation clocks highest level in nearly 21 years in November
Consumer prices increased 1.00% over the previous month in November, which was slightly below October’s 1.10% increase. The result was driven by moderating price pressures for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, and transportation.
Inflation rose to 7.8% in November, above October’s 6.8%. November’s result marked the highest inflation rate since December 2000. Annual average inflation rose to 4.6% in November (October: 4.2%). Lastly, core inflation ticked up to 4.7% in November, from the previous month’s 4.5%.
