Poland: Inflation falls to lowest level since March 2019 in March
Inflation came in at 2.0% in March, which was down from February’s 2.8%. March’s reading represented the lowest inflation rate since March 2019. The slowdown was largely due to a softer rise in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
In addition, the trend pointed down, with annual average inflation coming in at 8.0% in March (February: 9.2%).
Finally, consumer prices increased 0.20% in March over the previous month, below the 0.30% rise seen in February.
