Poland: Inflation increases in April
Inflation came in at 2.4% in April, which was up from March’s five-year low of 2.0%. The reading was largely due to a faster rise in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with annual average inflation coming in at 7.0% in April (March: 8.0%).
Finally, consumer prices increased 1.00% in April over the previous month, below the 0.20% rise seen in March.
