Poland: Nominal retail sales accelerate in May
Nominal retail sales rose 7.6% from the same month a year earlier in May, accelerating from April’s 4.6% year-on-year expansion. May’s reading was bolstered by faster fuel sales. Meanwhile, food sales also accelerated in the month.
Meanwhile, annual average growth in nominal retail sales dipped to 7.6% in May, down from 7.7% a month earlier.
