Poland: Nominal retail sales growth eases in April
Nominal retail sales rose 4.6% from the same month a year earlier in April, slowing sharply from March’s 9.2% year-on-year expansion. April’s reading was held back by weaker food sales. On the other hand, most retail categories—led by fuel and clothing sales—posted strong growth.
Meanwhile, annual average growth in nominal retail sales dipped to 7.7% in April, down from 7.9% a month earlier.
