Poland: Retail sales grow at quickest pace since April 2021 in March
Retail sales rose 22.0% compared to the same month of the previous year in March, which was above February’s 16.5% increase. The figure marked the best result since April 2021. The reading reflected a broad-based improvement, with activity in the motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts, textiles, clothing and footwear and furniture, radio, tv and household appliances sub-sectors all improving in March.
Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of retail sales coming in at 16.6%, up from February’s 16.2% reading.
