Poland: Retail sales growth stable in July
Retail sales grew 2.1% year on year in July (June: +2.1% yoy). Looking at the details of the release, motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts sales rebounded in July, while the decline in textiles, clothing and footwear sales worsened. Meanwhile, furniture, radio, tv and household appliances sales dropped at a milder rate.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of retail sales coming in at 11.3% in July, down from June’s 12.7%.
