Romania: Decline in industrial output softens in November
Industrial output dropped 1.9% year-on-year in November (October: -4.7% yoy). The smaller drop was largely due to less pronounced falls in manufacturing and mining and quarrying output.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, factory output rose at a quicker rate of 2.5% in November (October: +0.6% mom), the best result since April. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 7.6% in November (October: +7.8%), signaling a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
