Romania: Inflation rebounds in November
Consumer prices rose 0.2% month-on-month in November, down from October’s 0.4% increase. The largest increase was recorded for prices for food, while prices for non-food goods and services ticked up.
Inflation logged 3.8% in November from October’s 3.4%, which had marked the lowest print since January 2019, and thus moved above the upper bound of the Central Bank’s 1.5%–3.5% target range. Meanwhile, annual average inflation ticked up to 3.8%, from 3.7% in October.
