Russia: Inflation falls to 13-month low in November
In November, consumer prices rose 0.3% over the previous month, up slightly from October’s 0.1% month-on-month uptick and marking the first increase in six months. According to Rosstat, the upturn was led by higher prices for food products, while prices for non-food goods and services rose more softly.
Inflation fell to 3.5% in November from 3.8% in October. November’s result marked the eight consecutive month of moderating inflation and the lowest reading since October 2018. Lastly, annual average inflation remained stable at 4.6% in November.
