Saudi Arabia: Drop in consumer prices continues to moderate in June
Consumer prices rose 0.2% over the previous month in June, following May’s 0.1% increase. The result mainly reflects higher prices for recreation and culture, transport, restaurant and hotels and food and beverages.
In June, consumer prices fell 1.4% in annual terms, above the 1.5% drop in May and the softest decline so far this year. Meanwhile, the annual average variation in consumer prices declined from May’s 0.5% increase to a 0.2% rise in June.
