Saudi Arabia: Drop in consumer prices continues to moderate in September
Consumer prices rose 0.2% over the previous month in September, above August’s 0.1% increase. The print mainly reflected higher prices for education as well as for food and beverages.
In September, consumer prices fell 0.7% in annual terms, above the 1.1% drop in August and the softest decline so far this year. Meanwhile, the annual average variation in consumer prices declined from August’s minus 0.4% to minus 0.6% in September.
