Saudi Arabia: Inflation continues to ease in June
Consumer prices rose 0.1% over the previous month in June, the first increase in prices in four months, contrasting May’s 0.4% fall. The uptick was partly due to higher prices for food and beverages, and clothing and footwear.
Inflation continued to soften in June, easing to 2.1% from 2.3% in May and marking the lowest print in six months. Meanwhile, the annual average variation in consumer prices rose from 0.6% in May to 0.8% in June, the highest level in over one year.
