Serbia: Industrial output growth dips in June
Industrial output expanded 0.5% in year-on-year terms in June, which followed May’s 1.5% increase. June’s reading was partly due to a sharper fall in mining and quarrying production. In addition, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply production decelerated.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 1.9% in June, down from May’s minus 1.7% reading. On a monthly basis, factory output grew 0.3% in seasonally adjusted terms in June, contrasting May’s 1.4% fall.
