Serbia: Industrial output growth moderates in December
Industrial production increased 3.3% year-on-year in December (November: +7.0% yoy). The deceleration was largely due to weaker mining and quarrying output growth. In addition, manufacturing production lost pace.
On a monthly basis, factory output increased 0.7% in seasonally-adjusted terms in December, which was below November’s 0.8% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 6.1% in December, down from November’s 6.2%.
