Serbia: Inflation cools in December
Consumer prices rose 0.10% month-on-month in December, after flatlining in November. The print was driven by higher prices for communication, health, and transport, which offset lower prices for clothing and footwear, and food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Meanwhile, inflation cooled to 1.3% in December from 1.7% in November. That said, annual average inflation was unchanged at 1.6% for the third consecutive month. Lastly, harmonized inflation came in at 1.3% in December, down from 1.7% in November.
