Serbia: Inflation edges higher in July
Consumer prices declined 0.3% from the previous month in July, contrasting June’s 0.4% increase. According to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, lower prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages; and clothing and footwear drove the decline.
Inflation increased from 2.3% in June to 2.4% in July, within the Central Bank’s target range of 3.0% plus or minus 1.5 percentage points. Annual average inflation was unchanged at 2.3%.
