Serbia: Inflation edges higher in June
Consumer prices increased 0.4% from the previous month in June, below May’s 0.6% print. According to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, higher prices for recreation and culture, and transport were largely behind the monthly increase.
Inflation increased from 2.1% in May to 2.3% in June, within the Central Bank’s target range of 3.0% plus or minus 1.5 percentage points. Annual average inflation, meanwhile, inched down from 2.4% in May to 2.3% in June.
