Serbia: Inflation falls to over one-year low in November
Inflation came in at 8.0% in November, which was down from October’s 8.5%. November’s figure represented the lowest inflation rate since December 2021. Looking at the details of the release, price pressures for food and transportation softened.That said, housing and utilities prices rose at a quicker pace in November compared to the previous month.
Annual average inflation fell to 13.0% in November (October: 13.6%). Meanwhile, core inflation fell to 7.0% in November, from October’s 7.3%.
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.49% in November over the previous month, picking up from the 0.26% increase recorded in October. November’s result was the sharpest increase in prices since June.
