Singapore: Consumer prices drop at more moderate rate on an annual basis in June
Consumer prices increased 0.02% in June over the last month, which was below the 0.47% increase recorded in May.
Consumer prices fell 0.5% on an annual basis in June, above May’s 0.8% decrease. Meanwhile, the trend was unchanged with annual average inflation coming in at May’s 0.2% in June. Core consumer prices fell 0.2% on an annual basis in June, which unchanged from May’s reading.
