Singapore: Inflation holds stable in June
Consumer prices dropped 0.01% in June over the previous month, swinging from the 0.80% rise seen in May.
Inflation on an annual basis remained at 2.4% in June, unchanged from May’s reading which has marked the highest rate since November 2013. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up, with annual average inflation coming in at 0.7% in June (May: 0.4%), while core inflation edged down to 0.6% in June, from the previous month’s 0.8%.
