Slovakia: Industrial activity deteriorates in September
Industrial output fell 0.6% compared to the same month of the previous year in September, which contrasted August’s 4.7% increase. The notable weakening was largely driven by a deterioration in manufacturing output.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 1.7% in September (August: +4.5% mom). Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 3.0%, down from August’s minus 2.9%.
